Gabriela Pearse
Biography
Born in Colombia in 1962 to a Trinidadian mother and English father, Gabriela Pearse co-founded in 1983 the collective Black Womentalk with Da Choong, Olivette Cole-Wilson and Bernadine Evaristo. She now lives in London and works as a training consultant. She co-wrote the play Miss Quashie and the Tiger’s Tail with her daugter, Jean, for Theatre of Black Women in 1987.
