Jenny Davis

Jenny Davis is a playwright, screenwriter, novelist and actor. Her play The Front Room toured nationally with Kushite Theatre, playing at venues such as Nottingham Playhouse and Bristol Old Vic. She has also done various projects and residencies with theatre companies and organisations such as The Oval Theatre, Travelling Light and Amnesty International. Her writing has won her various accolades and awards, such as a BBC screenplay commission, and the winner of South West Screen/Film Council. As an actor, Davis has also performed nationwide, and is currently a member of Bristol’s ‘Breathing Fire’ Black Women’s Play Back Theatre Company.
