Kalungi Ssebandeke
Biography
Kalungi Ssebandeke is an Actor/Writer/Director of Ugandan heritage. His Debut play Assata Taught Me was Longlisted for the Alfred Fagon Award 2016 and nominated for the Audience Award after it premiered at The Gate Theatre starring Adjoa Andoh and Kenneth Omole with direction by Lynette Linton (with her debut production). In 2020 he was the recipient of the Roland Rees Bursary and became National Theatre writer on attachment that same year.
