Biography

Ghanaian born Margaret Busby is an award winning critic, and editor. She became the UK’s youngest and first Black woman publisher when she co-founded the publishing house Allison and Busby. Her musical drama ‘Yaa Asatewaa: Warrior Queen’ is an epic co-production featuring the Pan-African Orchestra of Ghana, Adzido Pan-African Dance Ensemble and the a capella group Black Voices. Yaa Asatewaa was performed in both Ghana and the UK during a year-long tour.
