Biography
Richard Chew is a composer, singer and pianist who has composed music for many films and operas, including the Mary Seacole Opera (2007). Notable works include music for Rufus Norris’s production of Sleeping Beauty. He has also devised several new works for young people, and people with disabilities. Chew has won the first prize in the Picture This Festival in Calgary, Canada, for the music he composed for the film Through Listening Eyes.
