Travis Alabanza

Born in 1995, Travis Alabanza is an award-winning writer, performer and theatre maker from Bristol. Their writing, performance and public discourse centres on trans and Black identities. Formerly making work in club and cabaret spaces, Travis’ work for the stage includes Burgerz (Hackney Showroom, Traverse Theatre, Southbank Centre, international tour), Overflow (Bush Theatre), and Sound of the Underground (Royal Court). They are currently developing a new show for the stage with Hackney Showrooms and the Southbank centre alongside projects for film and television.
