Synopsis
K knows something is going on with her partner M. He’s been distant, moody, and withdrawn. Things take a turn for the worst when M is diagnosed with depression and K finds herself trying to conceal the true extent of M’s decline in mental health, in a desperate attempt at keeping the relationship going. Set in the heart of the Caribbean home, this story explores love, loss, and generational trauma, through the lens of Caribbean spirituality. The play premiered at Theatre Peckham as a part of its Young, Gifted, and Black season (2023).
