Synopsis

An encounter between Prostitute and Thug (who has just robbed Soldier) starts a cycle of interlocking and overlapping sexual encounters played out under the shadow of HIV/AIDS in South Africa as ten people form an unwitting interpersonal circle. The encounters reveal political bribery, religious corruption and casual violence as the circle turns and then closes with the same character, Prostitute. Based on Arthur Schnitzler’s La Ronde.
