Synopsis

The second of Wole Soyinka’s Jero plays, Jero’s Metamorphosis is the story of the profit minded prophet Brother Jero, and his quest to stop the acquisition of a private beach by the Nigerian government. Under Jero’s command, the church undergoes metamorphosis into a military organisation, and prepares to make the beach into a space for their own profit-making desires.
