The Dreadful Dance of Ms Iniquity

Who will ask, who will call? A solo performance, using word, sound, music, physical theatre and still digital visuals to create a liminal space in which to explore a little-known, real single act of egregious immensity. Enacted on stage by a fictional Black British woman, Ms Iniquity, on behalf of powerful interests, whose terrible betrayal of her African ancestors continues a toxic legacy. Interlocutors include: the Black Voice of Rage, the Prosecutor, Witness, and Rescuer.

The Dreadful dance of Ms Iniquity was staged as a part of Curve Theatre’s 2022 New Works Festival.
